Well I had this long entry all pretyped and ready to go, then it started to rain. So I didn't want to have to carry my laptop all the way down the mountain in the rain, so instead you'll get a quick update for now. We're both alive and no longer sick. The hotel has been serving better food. Today for breakfast they actually had french toast! Last night we had chicken burgers (AMAZING) which were basically those little frozen chicken patties, but when you haven't had any sort of burger in month, it was the best thing in the world. Plus they made some pretty decent french fries. For lunch yesterday they had sphaghetti. But today for lunch they said it's going to be rice, daal, and rotti. Which is Indian for steamed rice, yellow stuff, and burnt dried out naan. So I think we might eat out. Plus we have to go down to town to the ATM. I picked up my shirts on Thursday. They came out really great, I took pictures but of course, I can't upload them because I'm not on my computer. Oh and I found out that our language school has a website, so if you want to check it out: http://landourlanguageschool.com/. I also just found this pretty cool map of the area we are staying in: http://wikimapia.org/#lat=30.4583663&am p;lon=78.1011146&z=18&l=0&m =a&v=2. The map is interactive so you can scroll around and see all the place around where we are. In the middle of the screen if you scroll over the building that's called Dev Dar Woods, that's our hostel Scroll to the left and you see Kellogg Memorial Church labeled as one of the buildings, that's where our language school is. Follow the street to the left and you can see a place called "Char Dhukan" that's where the internet cafe is. It litterally is Hindi for "Four Shops" because it's just a line of two restaurants, an internet cafe, and a bank (with no ATM--which sucks). Keep following the road to the left/down the mountain and you'll end you can see a lot of shops called "Landour Bazaar" that's where I got my shirts made. It helps to zoom out then you can see the larger part of Mussoorie, where all the restaurants, bars, shops, and the ATM are. That's how far we have to walk to go get some more cash. It's about an hour walk there and it is really steep (John&Spence think horse trail steep). It takes about an hour and a half back. Andrew says that he'll update once a month. Tomorrow is officially our one month in India, so we'll see if he keeps his promise. Sorry for the ****** update, I promise I had a better one, I just can't post it now. Love all your guys' comments. Keep 'em coming.
